Inspection Instruments & Equipment
At Novel Brass Industries, we use a comprehensive range of precision inspection instruments to ensure every component meets exact dimensional and functional standards. Our quality assurance team relies on Vernier calipers and micrometers (both inside and outside types) for basic dimensional checks, allowing us to verify sizes with high accuracy.
For thread inspection, we utilize a wide variety of thread plug and ring gauges covering standards like BSP, NPT, UNF, ISO Metric, BSW, and BA, ensuring that all internal and external threads conform precisely to required specifications. Height gauges and slip gauges are employed for vertical and stack height measurements, while go/no-go gauges are used extensively to validate critical tolerances and eliminate non-conforming parts from the batch.
We also use surface finish testers to evaluate the smoothness and finish of machined surfaces, ensuring components meet both visual and functional expectations. For detailed profiles or complex parts, digital profile projectors (optional or as per client requirements) can be used to analyze contour accuracy and intricate geometries.
Each of these instruments undergoes regular calibration and maintenance as per a documented schedule, ensuring consistent accuracy and reliable quality control. This robust inspection infrastructure allows us to maintain a zero-defect manufacturing environment while meeting diverse client specifications across multiple industries.
